Children of the Nunobiki primary school prepare theirs small Oodako kites : it's the replica of the great Yokaïchi oodako. They have built the kite, have conveided and painted the decoration. |
Children will make the kite flight. The teachers ands the kitemen of the Yokaïchi Oodako team (on the left, Tadao Hikida-san) help the children. |
Like the adults of the Yokaïchi Oodako team, they are many to pull the cord because this small oodako measures 4 tatamis (about 2 m2). |
The small oodakos have the same shape as the great Yokaïchi oodako. |
